shaving products american crew shaving products Free helpful Guide

For many years I shaved without pre-shave oil and I have now seen the light. The soothing, sweet-smelling light. If you haven’t used shave oil this is a great place to start. Some say they can shave with only this, and for those with resilient skin I’m sure they can. I have extremely sensitive skin and am highly prone to ingrown hairs/razor bumps on my neck. My bumps have all but gone since I started using this product in conjunction with my new favorite shave gel, Bump Patrol Cool Shave. Shave with the grain (the direction the hair is growing) and use a shave gel and aftershave for sensitive skin and you’re good to go.

I love the smell of this, and the very slight cooling feeling it brings to my skin before a good shave. 5 stars![keyword]american+crew+shaving+products[/keyword][yahooquestion]american+crew+shaving+products[/yahooquestion]

This is the first pre-shave oil I’ve purchased. I’m using it in combination with rather than instead of shave cream. So I put some drops in my palm and started to massage it into my warm wet face… No tingles but, a cooling effect. I decided to lather up my face again with both this and cream to prepare for the against the grain pass of my blade. Razor burn on my neck which I never get appeared. It must be from the blade being to aggressive, but this product won’t stop the razor burn. It just feels good on the face. And for not using an aftershave… forget that idea, my face was dry as usual.

If my husband had his way he would have a beard every day all year long. But…he is the GM of a restaurant and therefore has to has to shave :)

He was a little worried at first as he is used to using a shaving creme. He’s never used something that didn’t foam but after getting over the difference he loved it. It really provides a close shave. I couldn’t be more happier!

I have been a long time user of American Crew Essential Shave oil. I love the product. This time I got the new FLAT bottle and I don’t seem to like the FLAT bottle. When you try to pour a few drops of shave oil the flat lid design seem to make the liquid go over the lid and it does not drip easily. I have been experimenting with different angles of pouring and still have the problem. My grouse is againt the flat top design and not the product (shave oil). I hope that American Crew will get rid of the flat bottle and revert back to the small tip cap.

I had always used shaving creams and gels and always got my face torn up by the razor. I always got those little white bumps on my neck and irritated skin everywhere else. I got a bottle of this and was amazed at how much better it works. Plus it lasts a long long time.

I use it for both my face and my head in the summer. During the summer I shave the sides of my head for a true “High and Tight” and the shaving oil makes a huge difference in the amount of irritation. I can get a much closer shave and be a lot more comfortable afterward with this stuff.

I highly recommend this product for anyone who has sensitive skin like me but absolutely can not go without a daily (sometimes twice daily) close shave.

Husband loves this and the other AC products i got him. Oil has a nice smell that I even like. Shaving cream has a soapy smell, not this.

Great stuff. Not a substitute for a good quality shave cream. use this first, then put shave cream on top. best shave ever…

  10. Morales says:

Never used a shaving oil before but this stuff works great. It took a few times to get used to using. It’s not like lathering on cream. When they say wait 15 to 20 seconds they mean it. I usually wait a few extra to let it really work. Really happy with it, I’ll never go back to shaving cream.

In a nutshell, I had been using Pacific Shaving Oil before trying American Crew Essential Shave Oil. Don’t get me wrong, Pacific Shaving Oil is a good oil that doesn’t clog up your razor. But American Crew gives me an even better shave with very few nicks and cuts. And when I do get a nick or cut, the bleeding is very limited with American Crew. The only downside is that it clogs your razor quickly, so you have to rinse off the blade more often than usual. But that is of no concern because you are going to get a great shave. So if you are a “bleeder” when you shave, give this American Crew Essential product a try. And be sure to follow the instructions closely.

There is absolutely no reason for our stupidity. How in the world can a little girl with just leg damage be dug out underneath so much rubble, and later find out that she didn't make it. The bad thing about all of this is that the CNN crew just sat around and did not even offer any help. It was so sad watching this Haitian family dig their loved one out, just to later find out that she didn't make it.

This is nothing but negligence and cruelty. The CNN crew should have immediately got an American crew to get this little girl the proper medical attention that she deserved. Shame on you CNN!! This is simply negligence!!!!!! This poor little girl had a better chance living longer underneath the rubble.

Please do not show anymore footages of rescue attempts if all you are going to do, is sit around and watch!!! Furthermore, you can rest assure that there are many outraged Haitian families throughout United States.

I strongly believe that discussions about “looks” and dating in the Black experience is a very touchy and complex subject. I say it's a touchy subject because as a people, we've be socialized to neglect and look down upon our own natural beauty. So, when it comes to Black men dismissing women because they do not look like a “10″ and vice-versa for women, I find that to be very problematic for the future of Black families. I believe yes, appearance is very important but we should examine what our “10″ standards consist of and why. As an African American women, I think it's very perplexing that in this day of age we still hold the European beauty standard as our own. We are not European. We are Africans. So, when we say things like, yes that man is sexy or yes that girl is bad, who exactly are we comparing them to? For example, in the media(movies, T.V., etc) Black men with facial hair, or Black women who wear braids or other natural hair styles is deemed unprofessional and less admirable. I find that to be absurd. Black men hair grows different on their faces and it not meant to be shaved like White men. As a result, it leaves scares and razor bumps. And like I stated above, we're raised and socialized to accept the European look as the standard and ideal look, and the opposite of that standard as the less admirable look. The reality is the less admirable look is our natural beauty but society does not value that and actually looks down upon our natural curls and kinks. The thing is, society may never embrace Black beauty in its natural state, but we should. It's our responsibility to lift our natural beauty up and hold it as the standard. So in the end, Black people should be very careful when it comes to “looks”. I think if we continue to follow this shallow and backwards trend, future generations will be raised subconsciously to hate themselves.
