I don’t actually use this stuff, I bought it for my girlfriend, so keep that in mind with my review. I have discussed the product and her experience with it, of course.
The product seems to work ok to help reduce ingrown hairs, although it definitely doesn’t eliminate them. It seems like you need pretty regular and consistent use to get the best of it. Unfortunately a majority of its composition seems to be alcohol, and the smell and drying nature of this discourages such regular use – at least for some people (I certainly wouldn’t want to put it on my face). So it’s far from perfect.
It would be much better to have a more soothing product. We haven’t tried any others out there yet (e.g. Princereigns Ingrown Hair Gel or MiN New York Solution2 Razor Bump Rollerball Treatment), but I know there are many that don’t rely on alcohol for some of their effect. Her salon gal has also recommended other, less astringent stuff. She’ll probably switch to something else as soon as this is gone (or sooner).[keyword]body+shaving+products[/keyword][yahooquestion]body+shaving+products[/yahooquestion]

This kit is teeny tiny! For $13, I at least expected something a little larger. As for the quality of the products themselves, I am not too sure how good they are. I just hope it makes up for how little you get.
The kit is smaller than it appears in the photo. But it’s loaded with great stuff. Even cologne. I always love Burt’s Bees.
I really thought for the price, this would be a much bigger product. Most of this stuff was barely one time use. I LOVE BurtsBees products but I sent this back.
While not perfect the Remington BHT600 does a pretty good job.
I travel a great deal and I’ve tried various different shaving products trying to get that single product so I can clip, trim, shave and clean up my chest/back/under arms without resorting to lugging around different devices for different areas. Either I carried a normal electric razor and strained my back and arms getting to some difficult spots, or I’m forced to carry along multiple devices, some that don’t work right (or seem ready to fall apart in my hands every time I used them) or are only good for one thing.
With the Remington BHT600 I found something I truly liked; in fact the normal Detail Trimmer Attachment trimmed my facial hair so well my first thought was “if the Foil Shaver works as well, I don’t even need my normal electric razor.”
Unfortunately this wasn’t the case, while I found that all of the attachments worked well and meet or exceeded expectations – the Foil Shaver was the one weak link the entire setup. The process should have been simple; trim then shave – however the shaver required repeated passes, didn’t cut at all or the shave wasn’t nearly as close as you’d have expected. I thought the Extendable Handle worked well, allowing me to trim without strain, and the Vertical Trimmer (plus both Trimmer attachments) also worked great.
Maybe my expectations were lower than other reviewers, or I received a better unit – regardless, in comparison to other razors/shavers/trimmers I’ve used and/or owned…I’d have given the Remington BHT600 a 5-of-5 rating if the foil shaver had cut closer. So while this hasn’t eliminated the need to carry multiple devices – I’m happy to remove a couple of items from my go-bag and replace them with the Remington.
They should be ashamed to call this a man’s shaver and I better get my money back. It’s cheap crap that doesn’t shave anywhere well and looks like a little toy for a child with little plastic pieces that fall off. Pissed off and do not waste your time and money. Returning today.
When I first was considering buying this item, I came here on Amazon to see the reviews. As you can see, there are negative reviews about it. So I wasn’t going to buy it, but I was strolling in Target and had an impulse shopping moment. So I purchased the item and knew if I didn’t like it I could just take it back. Well, I kept the item. The shaver works completely great. It is also waterproof on the detachable parts so it’s easy to clean. It cuts my hairs completely fine. The foil shaver worked perfectly on my face. Maybe the other reviewers have titanium hairs growing out, but mine are normal and can be cut just fine. The extension of the shaver is such a useful feature since it can be hard to get the hairs on the back of my legs. Overall, an excellent product by Remington.
Unfortunately I ordered this unit when there were No Reviews…and now I am the second to report this as junk. This razor is proof that Remington doesn’t do product testing before launching their products. The so called adjustable feature is a joke and on the lowest setting it barely even touched my longest body hair and completely missed all that I would normally trim with my Philips Norelco Trimmers which actually cut hair at 11 settings. The guide is flimsy and useless…and when I took it off and tried just using the clippers in direct skin contact, it still did almost no good. I spent 40 mins NOT doing the job that my Norelco (which died of old age) did in 10 mins.
I have to say am pissed off that Amazon sold this junk…and I am returning the product.
Once in hand this groomer looked decidedly mediocre, but even worse it didn’t cut particularly well. The attachments slid off while in use and the cutting foil deformed after the second attempt.
This product is garuanteed by the manufacturer. If you feel it didn’t work properly you should be able to return it within 30 days.
Didn’t really work that well for me. I used it as often as it said to for several weeks, but I still have shaving bumps. The appearance was reduced a minimal amount.

I’ve had a very coarse beard but relatively sensitive skin since I was fourteen or so.
I discovered this back in high school while reading a Men’s Health mag. I’ve used it ever since, and it is the *only* thing that has ever made my skin look normal after shaving.
After I shave, if I don’t use this, I get red bumps all over my neck. Once, when I went on vacation in Europe, I forgot to bring this, and within a few days I had pizza neck.
I’ve tried every mainstream, brand name aftershave/skin care product, and nothing has ever come close to this.
As for those who said this was smelly, they are simply incorrect. There is a small alcohol smell when you first apply it (I usually hold my breath), but after 20 seconds or so, this goes away completely.
Hopefully, this stuff is safe, because if I ever have to stop using it I’m gonna just have to grow a massive mountain man beard.
I’ve been using this for a couple years and have finally been able to stop looking for the next thing to try for my razor bumps. You have to use it regularly, not just as a treatment when bumps show up, and it may take a few weeks for it to be fully effective, but it’s worth being patient and consistent if razor bumps are a problem.
These clippers were shipped quickly and in good condition. My husband is in the Military and gets weekly haircuts which can get expensive. We now use these clippers to trim his hair ourselves and have saved a ton of money!
I’ve used a lot of different clippers to shave my head and this is bar none the best one yet. Nothing is capable of getting so close besides a razor. I’ve heard others say it pulls up skin but I’ve never had that happen yet and I shave it by myself and get pretty rough with it. Anyone who like a short clip should pick these up.
I have been on the market for a “Balder” and was convinced by the positive reviews to purchase this unit. Unfortunately, I am quite disappointed. The claim that it shaves really close is quite misleading as I have done better with comparably priced Andis units. This Wahl unit is heavy, yet the red casing is soft, hollow, and made of a very cheap plastic. All in all, I would not really recommend it. The feeling, after you shave, is not gratifying at all.
Great clippers! Very pleased. Quiet and powerful and the 000000 blades almost shave. My wife likes using these better than regular clippers.
The problem that I find with this clipper is that its billing as the “balding clipper” is misleading.
With all those pictures at the Wahl website illustrating the results obtained with this clipper, with heads looking shaved (as with a blade), I expected a closer cut than what I got. In my head, you can clearly see stubble (unlike in those pictures), and you can feel it just as well.
Someone said that the results are similar to a day’s growth from a razor shave. In my case, it’s more like a 3rd day’s growth from my razor shaves.
I bought this clipper because I was looking for a faster alternative to the blade. So far the only comparable alternative that I’ve found is an electric shaver, but that’s not really faster, it takes almost as long as shaving with a blade.
So after using this clipper I asked myself: “Should I return it?” And I realized: But then, what am going to buy? I still don’t know of anything better, probably this is as good as it gets with a clipper, and for the sake of speed, I’ll take it. It’s good enough. Just don’t expect your head to look like the ones on those pictures.
Veet is the best stuff to use if you hate shaving. It dissolves the hair in about three minutes after you apply it to your skin. You don't have to touch it. It comes with a thing that looks like a razor, but it doesn't use a blade. You use that razor-like thing to remove the Veet from your skin.
bro thats a line from gay Gucci rapper dude
long hair = knots… you can hairbrush your longhaired cat, but if the hair is really smooth kinda whool (like sheep) gets knots easy, i brush my persian 2 times a day, and he still gets horrible knots (like dreadlocks) and they are really painful for the cat…
Tame your mane with the power of Billy Jealousy Lunatic Fringe Hair Pomade. The lightweight, non flaking hair gel helps you achieve the perfect style every time with little fuss and a strengthening, revitalizing formula for even the finest hair….
uhh i'd stick to shaving. shaving powder sounds a tad suspicious.
